15 December (Part 1) - Waste deterioration by stealth
On the day that Bexley Council collected the white lidded bins in my road
three working days late - but not the brown which are charged at more than £1 a go, letterboxes have received the annual recycling guide.
Last year it was a poor effort but for 2022 it has
reverted to the comprehensive document that has been the norm since at least
2009. All the old copies are accessible from the Services menu above.
As one has come to expect from Bexley Council the quality of service continues
to decline. The obvious change is the brown bin price hike from £38 to £55 and
rather more subtle, the requirement to put your bins out by 06:00 instead of 06:30.
