One lost parking space

Something wrong here surely. The council have consistently said that the rearrangements to Abbey Road will not lead to a reduction in parking spaces. Here you see the original markings and the end of the residents’ bays. Looks like Bexley council lied again.

The council’s plan (150KB pdf file) when compared with the central chevron markings in this photograph shows the loss of parking space.

Car parked for three weeks

This car has been occupying one of the six parking bays outside Abbey Wood Station for just over three weeks. It got a parking ticket on day 1 and another on day 2 (which disappeared almost immediately) but since then it has just been sitting there for no obvious reason. Well one ticket is cheaper than the car park across the road I suppose.
