Reports of minor prangs in Abbey Road continue to filter through but always too late for me to see the evidence, until this morning that is, when snow provided a clue. A car going towards Erith took to the pavement possibly in an effort to avoid an obstruction at the bus stop. The precise details are unknown. It probably didn’t help that councillor Craske’s “flexible” approach to road gritting means that there has been no sign of a gritter in this area.
