Bonkers was not always primarily a daily blog. Whilst blogs
were published almost daily from 2011 the website was formatted more like a
newspaper with an occasionally updated Front Page and Editorial,
the blog itself was buried within the site.
This is an example of an Editorial page written long before Smart Phones were a
consideration. Many of them will be difficult to read on a mobile phone and links may no longer work
and references to site banners will be invalid.
It remains here for historical purposes only.

The above blog extract illustrates
how Bexley Council’s Dirty Tricks Department reacts to
criticism and the photograph is of the borough police commander who has so far done
nothing about it.
The visit to Bexley Civic Offices to which the blog refers was known only to
Bexley council and appeared on the web within hours of the visit. The obscene
blog could only have been created by someone closely associated with Bexley council.
It has been reported from several council sources that the Head of Member
Services has been off sick following these events. As neither the police nor
Bexley council are willing to reveal the true author of the obscene blog it
leaves the one man who definitely had the requisite information to write it as
the prime suspect. It is typical of Bexley council’s attitude to staff that it
is content to leave one who may be entirely innocent in an embarrassing position.
