The unusual site banners are to bring attention to the fact that Labour activists in Bexley are manipulating Facebook Groups with fictional posters. They deny it, threaten police action for ‘harassing’ a fictitious character and then demonstrate their willingness to impersonate by creating a false Administrator account in my name. The banner on display is chosen randomly from a selection of three, with a fourth bearing the familiar Bexley Council is Bonkers logo.
28 December - Bexley council declares an extra Bank Holiday
The
holiday is officially over and I’ve seen the dust cart out on the road and the
park rangers doing whatever park rangers do and I’m sure some parking tickets
will have been issued by now, but Bexley council offices remain shut. They have
awarded themselves an extra day off. In the neighbouring boroughs it’s business
almost as usual according to their websites but not in Bexley.
If you need to register a birth or a death and take a trip to the Manor House in
Sidcup you will have wasted your time. Bexley council decided to keep the
Registrar’s Office closed until tomorrow too.
