The unusual site banners are to bring attention to the fact that Labour activists in Bexley are manipulating Facebook Groups with fictional posters. They deny it, threaten police action for ‘harassing’ a fictitious character and then demonstrate their willingness to impersonate by creating a false Administrator account in my name. The banner on display is chosen randomly from a selection of three, with a fourth bearing the familiar Bexley Council is Bonkers logo.

8 June - Queen Elizabeth comes to Bexleyheath tomorrow

Clocktower Queen's box Queen's bustTomorrow is the day of the Civic Parade, the highlight of which will be the unveiling of a £20,000 bust of the Queen which will fill one of the remaining two empty plinths on the Clocktower.

The main events will be the church service (Christ Church, Broadway) at 10:30 a.m. after which there will be a march to the Clocktower where the bust will be unveiled by Major David Hewer OBE.

With any luck someone will have remembered to wind up the clock, it wasn’t working when these pictures were taken on 2nd June.
