CPS response

After the potentially murderous crime was committed in July 2024 the police at first did nothing. They were roused from their slumbers by the intervention of the two most senior Conservative politicians in the borough. Even then the case was allocated to a police officer who was a part-timer but a police file eventually went to the Crown Prosecution who bounced it back a couple of times.

One cannot be sure why the CPS is so keen to allow possible hammer throwers to roam the streets but other cases reported on Bonkers over the years have indicated a weeding of evidence by either the police or the CPS to ensure the failure of a case that would embarrass them or that the victim has links to the police that they wish to protect. Unfortunately one can no longer be sure that British authorities are honest.

The victim is pursuing the CPS for more information.
