
The unusual site banners are to bring attention to the fact that Labour activists in Bexley are manipulating Facebook Groups with fictional posters. They deny it, threaten police action for ‘harassing’ a fictitious character and then demonstrate their willingness to impersonate by creating a false Administrator account in my name. The banner on display is chosen randomly from a selection of three, with a fourth bearing the familiar Bexley Council is Bonkers logo.
18 August - Selling off playing fields and open spaces
The brief report on Bexley council selling land at knock down prices provoked a number of comments and by chance the same subject has been in the national news again with the government caught out with with their dodgy figures. One reader illustrated just how cheap Bexley’s land was sold for with a spreadsheet. Making due allowance for area and taking Bexley’s price as the reference point, this is how much more money other boroughs made.
